Art Philosophy

Illuminated by dreams, observation and introspection my works reflect on psychological processes and questions of meaning and significance, both personal and social. I am particularily interested in contemporary issues, and images that convey the unspoken.

I like to experiment with dichotomies. As have others before me, I find not opposites, but a dialectic.

I work in a variety of two-dimensional media: photographic, digital, and traditional.

Focus of the current exhibition

The recent works tend toward the surreal and speak of the unknown or unacknowledged and invite us to ponder how much lies beyond the surface of things.
